Message -s please let us know what other wiring issues you have encountered. The feed back is critical to continued product improvement.

The WS harness has MANY merits over the OEM harness, not the least of which is full support for all 90-1995 Auto/MT/TT/NA cars - there are many holes in EFI availability or price in the current OEM offerings.

The only other concern with the 300ZX harness was early production ones having a pair of wires reversed in the F2 connecter which prevented the correct function of the CEL light.

I sent out a notification to all customers which purchased the harness through me prior Feb 2013. This issue has long been resolved by Wiring Specialties in current production units. However it is possible that older inventory is in the hands of unaware customers.

All -

This was sent to me from Wiring Specialties - seems that some of the 1st batch of WS harnesses had a wire pair reversed which would prevent the check engine light from coming on at start up. At the "F2" dash connector (white w. yellow retainer) near the main ECU connector there are 2 wires which are yellow w. a green stripe. On some of the early units those wires are reversed. There is a description in the attached document as well as a walk through via YouTube link. If anyone has an trouble with making this correction please let me know and I'll walk you through it.

For those handy with a multi meter you can test this by checking for continuity between PIN 32 on the EFI connector and yellow w. green stripe wires in the F2 connector. The correct position for the CEL wire is to be in the outside corner below the thick orange wire. Simply depin both wires and reverse their positions.

I have unit tested all the current inventory I have on hand and they test correct however I can not be sure whos harness could be effected prior to this email so please check what you have on hand. Sorry for the hassle but thank you for your support of this product.
